Day 3

Welcome to the best entry of  the blog, expertly written by the wonderful Year 8's. It began with Park Güell (that means "park" in Spanish), a georgeous collection of Antoni Gaudi's best work. Similar to the Sagrada Familia, the monument park was full of sculptures, columns and brickwork, where some of us bought snacks at the local shop. Then it was lunch La Poma, where we ordered Tapas, Pastas, Pizzas; all by ourselves and paid by ourselves (be proud...be very proud). We spent the afternoon walking through the crowded streets of Barcelona, walking past the century-old buildings and stopping by at a small market; it was full of antiques books, pins, and various other items. Later that day we visited La Boqueria, an enormous food market thick with fish, fruits, vegetables (and the occasional ice cream). That evening we ate at La Moka, and ate spaghetti, sausages and banana cheesecake. As we reach the halfway point in the holiday, we reflect on the great memories we've made, and look forward to those we are still going to make. That got really deep. I'm impressed. Signing out from Barcelona.
